The Scovill firm was one of the most prolific manufacturers of Hard Times tokens. Donald Miller estimated that 25% of the total Hard Times token production is attributable to the firm. Adams lists 42 different tokens from Low’s original listing which he believes to have been made by the company.

Donald Miller estimated that some twenty five percent of all Hard Times tokens were produced by this firm. It is still in business, today.
